Growing Demand Causes Locknet to Open Eau Claire Office

La Crosse, Wis. (March 19, 2009), - Locknet, Inc., a La Crosse-based information technology services firm, has responded to growing demand by opening a second office in Eau Claire, in the Farmers Store Plaza building at 202 Eau Claire Street.  The move was completed on March 13, 2009.
    
The company’s expansion was prompted by growing demand from the Eau Claire and Wausau regions for several services including network management, data security, and compliance consulting.

Locknet brought on two new team members for the office’s opening and expects to add more jobs in both Wisconsin offices this year.

“Central Wisconsin has been great place to expand Locknet’s business,” said Scott Tanke, vice president of sales at Locknet.  “Business leaders in the region are very aggressive about exploring ways to increase productivity while being more cost effective.  They are quickly seeing the value of managing information technology better by utilizing our services.”

The Farmers Store Plaza building is located off the banks of the Chippewa River and was chosen for its quality office facilities as well as its proximity to the downtown business community.  

“We wanted a space that would be accessible and comfortable for our clients, while providing a desirable working environment for our in-demand IT associates,” said Tanke. “The downtown location provides quick access to nearby restaurants and the view of the river is a nice touch.  It fits both our customer and our workforce needs ideally.”
